ABOUT THE EXHIBIT
Artist’s statement: I am sure we all have stories about trees in our lives. . . Perhaps we sat under an old oak and told secrets to a friend, or wandered into a grove of elms we discovered while out riding a horse.
I have many memories through my life tied to specific trees. This collection touches on happiness, beauty, trauma, healing, and even transformation: a personal journey that I hope you might relate to as well, as you spend time reflecting on them.
