Artist Statement: "I have had the privilege of meeting the ocean several times - from Oahu’s north shore to wild and rocky Maine, from Belize’s San Pedro Island to Dover’s white cliffs. Each place has had an impact on me: from memories,

symbols of awe or fear and joy.

This collection of Ocean Encounters represents a smattering of some of my responses to brief interactions with the ocean and its shores, real and imagined, its mystery to me and some treasures I’ve collected…from my murky subconscious to sun sparkled coral reefs."
