My Art Guidance

From time to time, since retiring my Niagara Arts Academy, people still request teaching, art parties. Introducing others to art using a variety of materials including acrylics, watercolours, soft pastels and more is in my blood. And now, deliberate therapeutic arts sessions have grabbed my interest. 

 

I am grateful for all the encouragement and opportunity to work towards my desire to joyfully create as well as to cultivate creativity in others.

Niagara Art Parties

$60 each 

Hire me for an Art Party within the Niagara Region - any age, any excuse for a party, no skill required. Step-by-step guidance instructional time is 2-3 hours with room for breaks. Choose from over a dozen simple but artistic paint party themes.

The price includes materials.

You just need to provide:

  1. Your small group (enquire about larger group rates)

  2. Adequate workspace (and sink for cleanup)

  3. Optional refreshments​​

Virtual Art Parties

$40 each

ZOOM in to do 1.5 hour online small group art parties. Any age, with Zip to Pro skill.

Contact me for details and to receive over a dozen simple but artistic paint party themes. Then gather a group or join a pre-panned event.

​

Allow $15 for materials. 

​Usually, a canvas, set of acrylic paints and brushes, plates for mixing paint, jar for cleaning brushes.​​​

Mindfulness Arts Sessions

$30 each - Larger Groups

$60 each - Private/Semi-private

ONLINE or in NIAGARA in my Home Studio in St. Catharines, ON, Canada. Groups, couples, friends, siblings, or one-on-one art sessions by a certified Art Therapy Practitioner (ATP). Creative exercises that focus on therapeutic relaxation and expression including various techniques and guided and expressive art and poetry.

Any age and no skill required: These are process-driven sessions Ie. - works of the HEART rather than works of art.

​

Allow $15 for materials (can be used over several sessions) ​

Traditional Art Lessons

$40 each

$30 larger group rates

ONLINE or in NIAGARA in my Home Studio in St. Catharines, ON Canada. 45 minute private or semi-private art lessons with creative exercises that focus on building practical elemental skills and art principles. Any age and an interest in learning with a commitment to practice during the week. These lessons are good for Portfolio building and personal skill development. The lessons are designed toward delight-directed learning (honed to suit your personal interests).

Basic in-class materials are included. Suggested: Purchase student grade or professional materials for at-home use between class.  ​​​
