POLICIES & TERMS
To keep things as clear and as simple as possible
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Full Payment is due two weeks prior to the commencement of the first class and secures your spot.
Additional Fees and costs (travel fees, taxes, materials, etc.) will be discussed beforehand.
Full Refunds are given ONLY in the case of an instructor canceling if rescheduling is not an option.
Missed Classes Up to three "power catch up" times attached to the session schedule can be attended IF pre-arranged. (This replaces the emergency cancellation option of 1 class per season.)
Rescheduling If you email us at least 2 weeks prior to the event/commencement of the first class date, rescheduling or Gift Cards (for Lorenda's art or future classes) are available for a $20 processing fee.
Health Policy Excluding online lessons/events, if you are contagious/sick, please inform us as soon as possible and don't attend. Refer to "Missed Classes" for details. In the case of a governmental emergency lockdown, online events/lessons will be offered to replace in-person ones. In some cases, in-person therapeutic (mental health) lessons/options may still be able to be held.
NIAGARA ARTS ACADEMY COURSE CERTIFICATE
Hours can go towards earning a full course (equivalent to a DSBN art course), If discussed and arranged, the student will receive a professionally printed Course Certificate.
PRIVACY & MEMBERSHIP
We respect your privacy so please let us know when you arrive at an event if you do not want photos taken of you and yours. You will not be tagged or fully named unless it is asked for. Your first dollar to us in any year makes you an official annual member of Lorenda Harder Studio and Niagara Arts Academy, entitling you to any possible giveaways. You can opt out anytime, but then you will miss Lorenda's updates about her art, life, and teaching. We do not pass along/share your private/contact information to anyone.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By registering for any events through Lorenda Harder: As the legal parent or guardian or organizer you release and hold harmless to the business Lorenda Harder Studio, Niagara Arts Academy, and Straight to the Art, its owners, operators, and any franchisor from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of Lorenda Harder Studio (Lorendaharder.com), Niagara Arts Academy, Faith Arts, and Straight to the Art Professionals, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises.
